Hörmann’s ProMatic Canopy Operator
Hörmann have produced a ‘world first’ device allowing homeowners to automate their canopy door.
The intelligently designed lifting arm, added to the tried and tested ProMatic canopy operator, provides a smooth and trouble-free automatic opening of any Hörmann canopy garage door. The device allows people to open and close their garage door with the touch of a button, using BiSecur radio technology.
When purchasing the ProMatic canopy operator, homeowners are provided with two hand transmitters.
Along with the convenience of an automated door, the canopy operator provides unrestricted drive-through height with no requirements for additional modifications or an unsightly bow arm device fitted to the rear of the door. If homeowners already have a canopy door installed the unit is easy and are quick to retrofit.

This combination of speed and convenience is fascinating. Your sectional garage door opens faster and you can drive directly from the street into your garage. And you will wonder how you ever lived without convenience functions such as the additional opening height to ventilate your garage, and being able to switch the operator lighting on and off with your hand transmitter. An operator cover made of brushed aluminium also provides the SupraMatic with a very elegant appearance.
Only a remote-controlled Hörmann operator distinguished by proven technology makes your entrance gate truly convenient to operate. Thanks to the soft start and soft stop function, your door always runs evenly and smoothly. The obstacle detection function protects people and objects and gives you a feeling of safety. Useful additional functions round off your comfort, e.g. the automatic timer function that closes your door after a predefined period*, or the option to open the door only partially for people to pass through. The operators RotaMatic are also available with a useful battery and optional solar panel.
